New Delhi: Sir Jadeja... Just the name is enough. The way this star all-rounder made Chennai Super Kings (CSK) victorious on the last two balls in the IPL 2023 final match will be remembered for years. Jadeja won the trophy by hitting a six and then a four off two balls. Gujarat Titans (GT) scored 214 for 4 in 20 overs, but due to rain, Chennai got a target of 171 runs in 15 overs.

After leading CSK to a historic win, Ravindra Jadeja said, "It feels great to win the 5th title in front of my home crowd. The way CSK fans came and supported us was fantastic. He waited till late in the night for the rain to end. Chennai fans are very fantastic. I want to congratulate CSK fans. I dedicate this win to a special person in my team - MS Dhoni."

CSK needed 13 runs to win in the last over and just 3 runs came from the first 4 balls. In such a situation, 10 runs were needed to win on the last two balls and Ravindra Jadeja was in front of Mohit Sharma. Jadeja was asked what he was thinking before the last over.   "I was just thinking that I have to turn the bat fast no matter what happens. We needed 10 runs off the last two balls, anything could have happened. I just wanted to hit straight, I know Mohit Sharma can bowl a slow ball. I want to congratulate each and every CSK fan. The way you cheer us, keep doing it, we will work hard and keep winning trophies."
