Talking about match, it was a one-sided affair at the Wankhede Stadium as KKR, who were in a do-or-die situation, failed to put on a show against the hosts. Chris Lynn scored a quickfire 41 off 29 deliveries to get KKR off to a flyer as he combined with Shubman Gill (9) to post a 49-run stand for the first wicket. However, post the duo's departure Mumbai Indians bowlers trook wickets at regular intervals and restricted KKR on 133/7 in 20 overs.  In second Inning, Mumbai Indians openers made the light work of the chase as Rohit slammed an unbeaten half-century and combined with Quinton de Kock (30 off 23) to post a 46-run stand for the opening wicket. Suryakumar Yadav scored 46 off 27 deliveries as Mumbai Indians to achieve the target.
