On Monday,  With IPL match starts its batting took place. Various cases are reported in this regard. One such case reported from Hyderabad , here two persons were allegedly organizing betting on the ongoing IPL cricket matches were nabbed by the Rachakonda police here. Rs.1 lakh and three mobile phones were seized from them.

Here it is to be noted that acting on a tip off, the police caught K Ramakrishna Raju (40), a sub bookie and P Sridhar (42), a punter while they were accepting bets on the ongoing IPL matches in an office in Yadagiripally village in Keesara. Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat said that “Raju was organizing the online cricket betting racket with the help of one Chaitanya Varma of Vizag and accepting the bets through e-wallets and online payment modes,”. Here to be noted that on information, the Malkajgiri Police Special Operations Team raided the office at Keesara and caught Raju and Sridhar. Efforts are on to nab Varma.
