New Delhi: IPS Ajaypal Lamba of Rajasthan cadre, who is often in discussions about his way of working, is in the headlines once again. He has written a book on Asaram Bapu, convicted of rape, which will be launched on 5 September. In a book titled 'Gunning for the Godman: The True Story Behind Asaram Bapu's Conviction', Ajaypal Lamba wrote the stories about Asaram's arrest, the media's eyewash and there is also a full mention of Asaram's confession, in which Asaram is saying that he has made a mistake.
In 2013, IPS officer Ajaypal Lamba, author of the book Gunning for the Godman, took over the reins of the police team that arrested Asaram. Arvind Mathur co-author of this book. According to the report, some excerpts from the conversation between Asaram and the police during the interrogation at one place in the book are as follows, "Baba, tell me what all this was done, I asked him in a slightly hoarse tone. Ajaypal Lamba said that the book can also be published in Hindi.
