According to a press statement from Vivo, the iQoo 7 series, iQoo Z3, and iQoo Z5 will be among the first to receive Android 12 in beta before the end of the year. Other devices, including the iQoo 3, will also receive Android 12, according to iQoo, but the company's plan presently only mentions a few smartphones.

The iQoo 7, iQoo 7 Legend, iQoo Z3, and iQoo Z5 will receive the Android 12 beta by the end of December 2021, while the iQoo Z3 will receive the Android 12 beta by the end of March 2022, according to iQoo. The number of additional handsets that will be upgraded to Android 12 has not been disclosed by the firm. Vivo's parent company, iQoo, also revealed its Android 12-based FunTouchOS 12 beta schedule shortly after iQoo's announcement. The Android 12 upgrade has been confirmed for 31 Vivo smartphones in the S, V, X, and Y series, and it will begin rolling out in Beta next month. Vivo's X70 Pro will be the company's first smartphone to run on Android 12.

iQoo 7 series will be the first in line to get Android 12.

On the same day that Google announced the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, Android 12 was handed out to Pixel devices. The Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro are the most significant Pixel updates to date. Both smartphones have a new design and are equipped with Google's Tensor processor.
