Tehran: Iran's President Hassan Rouhani has made a big statement about the Corona cases in the country, which has caused a stir in Iran. He has said that 25 million people of his country have been affected by Coronavirus. President Rouhani estimated that by the start of the coronavirus havoc, about 2.5 million Iranian citizens would have been infected by now. The statement of the Iranian President shows that the country's official figures are under suspicion.

The Iranian president has predicted such a large number of infections, citing a new study by the Iranian Ministry of Health. He has urged people to take the epidemic seriously. Rouhani also said that in the coming months, about three to three and a half million people may be infected with Corona. While referring to the report, Rouhani said that it is also predicted that the number of patients admitted to hospitals will also double as we have seen in the last 150 days.

Iran is worst affected by the corona epidemic in West Asia where so far 2,70,000 cases of corona have been reported and at least 13,979 people have died. According to Iran's Health Ministry, this includes 2,166 infections and 188 new cases of deaths reported in the last 24 hours.
