New Delhi: A video is going viral on social media. It is claimed to belong to Abedin Khorram, The New Governor of Azerbaijan of Iran in which a man is seen slapping him. The man who slapped the new governor during a ceremony on Saturday October 23, 2021 was upset that his wife was vaccinated by a male medical staff.

After the attack, the security forces caught the accused and dragged him out of the side door. The cause of the attack was initially said to be unknown. But later the vaccine came to light. To protect the governer, he was taken away from the podium immediately after the incident. People present at the function said they did not know the attacker. Khorram is one of those kidnapped by rebel forces in Syria in 2013 along with 48 other Iranians. He was recently made governor by President Ibrahim Raisi on October 17, 2021.

Khorram has said, 'I definitely don't know him, but you should know, when I was in Syria, I was hit and beaten 10 times a day by the enemy. He said, '10 times he loaded a gun on my forehead. I consider this to be one of the same enemies, but I still forgive it. It was later revealed that the one who slapped the governor was angry with his wife for getting corona vaccine by male medical staff.
