Baghdad: In Iraq's capital Baghdad on Friday, unidentified assailants opened fire on anti-government protesters, killing 16 people and injuring 45 others. A source in the Ministry of Internal Affairs has given this information in this regard. The source told the local media on condition of anonymity that the attackers entered the convoy of vehicles in Al-Khalani Square and started indiscriminate firing on the people who had gathered there to protest.
