In Iraq, an explosive-laden drone targeted prime minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi residence in Baghdad today morning. Meanwhile, the biggest and most relieving thing was that Prime Minister Kadhimi narrowly escaped the attack. Security sources said several bodyguards of Kadhimi were injured in the drone attack. Iraqi forces are said to have termed the attack on Prime Minister Mustafa as an attempt to murder as part of a conspiracy.

Not only that, but he also informed that "Kadhimi narrowly escaped the drone attack and did not suffer any serious injuries.'' On the other hand, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi said in a recorded television message, "He has not been harmed in the attack and he is fine.'' However, more than 6 people have been injured in the incident. On the other hand, Prime Minister Al-Kadhimi tweeted. In this tweet, he writes, "The rockets of sedition will not be able to shake the perseverance and determination of the brave security forces.'' He further wrote, 'I am fine and among my people. Thank God.'

Let me tell you all that PM Al-Kadhimi has been taken to a safe place. He also asked the people of Iraq to maintain peace and exercise restraint. Not only that, the PM supported the security forces to ensure the security of the nation and uphold the law. Let me tell you that the Prime Minister's residence falls within the green zone of the city. On the other hand, an Iraqi army statement said, "Kadhimi's residence was targeted in the attack. On the other hand, two government officials say, "Kadhimi 's residence has been attacked by a drone, though the Prime Minister is safe. At least 6 members of Kadhimi's private security forces stationed outside PM's residence were injured.''
