New Delhi: IRCTC has made a big announcement for the passengers of Tejas Express, the country's first private train. IRCTC has said that passengers of Delhi-Lucknow Tejas Express will get free rail travel insurance of Rs 25 lakh. Apart from this, passengers will also be given the service of retiring room at Lucknow Junction.
Passengers will also get an executive lounge at New Delhi railway station. Passengers will also be able to book an executive lounge for the meeting. Even though IRCTC will have all the responsibilities in operating the train, it will be the responsibility of the Railways to compensate for any kind of compensation to the passengers of these two trains in the event of any kind of accident. The Railway Board will have the right to determine the fare in these trains.
IRCTC can provide many more facilities to the passengers. According to reports, IRCTC has proposed to the Railway Board that cab booking from home to station and station to house while booking passenger tickets in the first Tejas Express to run on Delhi-Lucknow and Mumbai-Ahmedabad railway tracks, it will be your choice during the journey for Food and wheelchair facilities. However, the proposal has not yet received approval from the Railway Board.
