Prime Minister Narendra Modi has flagged off Kashi Mahakal Express on Sunday. IRCTC, an enterprise of the Indian Railways, can operate this train. It is also the third private train to be operated by IRCTC on the tracks of Indian Railways. This train will run from Kashi Vishwanath's city Varanasi to Indore. In addition, this train will connect three Jyotirlingas - Kashi Vishwanath, Omkareshwar (near Indore) and Mahakaleshwar (Ujjain). In addition, this train will also connect the industrial hub of Madhya Pradesh with Indore and the capital Bhopal.

Common people will be able to travel from February 20
IRCTC is already operating Tejas trains on the New Delhi-Lucknow and Mumbai-Hyderabad routes. The commercial start of Kashi Mahakal Express will start from February 20. Booking for this train has started from IRCTC website. This train can be operated three days a week. Two days it will be run via Sultanpur-Lucknow. One day it can be run via Prayagraj i.e. Allahabad. After the commercial operation starts, this train will leave Varanasi at 3:00 pm on every Tuesday and Thursday and reach Indore at 9:40 am the next day. Every Wednesday and Friday, it will leave from Indore at 10:55 am and reach Varanasi at six in the next day. This train will halt at Ujjain, Sant Hirdaram Nagar, Bina, Jhansi, Kanpur, Lucknow and Sultanpur stations from both sides.

Train route via Prayagraj
Kashi Mahakal Express can be operated once a week via Prayagraj. The train can leave from Varanasi at 3:15 pm for Indore every Sunday. The train will reach Indore at 9.40 am the next day. This train will depart from Indore every Monday at 10.55 am. The train will reach Varanasi at five in the morning the next day. The train will halt at Ujjain, Sant Hirdaram Nagar, Bina, Jhansi, Kanpur and Prayagraj stations from both directions.

The fare of Kashi Mahakal Express will be dynamic like both Tejas trains, which means that the sooner you book a ticket, the more benefits you will get. Along with this, according to the website of IRCTC, the fare of a person between Varanasi to Indore is Rs 1951.

First train of IRCTC to complete the journey in one night
Both Tejas trains run by IRCTC travel both ways in a day. It will be the first train to reach its destination after a night's run. In this train you will get vegetarian food. Also you can get insurance of Rs 10 lakh.
