New Delhi: Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has come up with an option plan for the convenience of Indian rail passengers. Under the IRCTC option scheme, passengers have to ensure seats in one of the two trains on any one route. According to IRCTC, opting for the option does not mean that passengers will be given an optional berth in an alternate train as it is subject to train and berth availability.
