IRCTC has completely updated its website and the new website has gone live. As soon as passenger irctc.co.in will to log in, they will be new IRCTC layout of the website. IRCTC has upgraded its website after a long time. IRCTC has added many features along with the new website. A new software has been added to it, which will tell the chances of confirming your waiting ticket. 

The new IRCTC website went live at 7 pm on Wednesday. Its beta version was launched on May 28, 2018. Along with this beta version was provided as a link to the old website for the user's test. After testing the new website and recording the feedback, it was decided to go live. 

In the interaction with an English newspaper in the past, an official of the Railway Board said, "We have been working on IRCTC's website for some time and have been continuously testing it. We wanted to make the website easy and people In this website, we have also paid attention to cybersecurity, about 70 percent of the users have given their approval on this new website. There was a good number in the room." 

Indian Railway has reported that this software has been developed by CRIS (Center for Railway Information Systems). This is better than the other software available on the second ticket portal. Because this software already uses the data available on the railway.  With the new feature, travelers can get 'optional' seats in the other trains going along the same route due to the waiting tickets in different trains. Recently, the Modi government had told in its 4-year report that more than 20 thousand tickets have been booked on the IRCTC website. Due to the rapid spread of the internet, there was a need for a good and upgraded IRCTC website.
