NEW DELHI: On June 21, IRCTC Ltd will launch and operate the inaugural Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train, which will coverto all of the major sites related with Lord Rama's life. The introduction of the Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train is in keeping with the Government of India's "Dekho Apna Desh" strategy to encourage domestic tourism.

The IRCTC tourist train would be an 18-day all-inclusive travel package with prices starting at Rs. 62,370/- per person. To make this package more appealing and affordable to a wider audience, the IRCTC has partnered with the Paytm and Razorpay payment processors to offer an EMI payment option that breaks the whole price into several EMIs. Eleven 3rd AC coaches, one pantry car, and two SLRs will make up this fully air-conditioned tourist train. Freshly prepared vegetarian meals will be served to passengers in their seats from the well-equipped modern pantry car on board.

The train is also equipped with an infotainment system for passenger entertainment as well as public announcements.
