IS holds involvement in Berlin truck attack that killed 12 people

The Islamic State has asserted that the truck attack in Berlin on Tuesday in a crowded Christmas market was by them. 12 people were killed in the attack and atmost 48 people wounded. 

 Islamic State group issue their statement through Amaq news agency descring that, "The man seen fleeing from the truck as a soldier of the Islamic State who carried out the attack in response to calls for targeting citizens of the Crusader coalition.”

The suspect is identified as Pakistani citizen who entered Germany last year with a motive of attack. Germany's high-rank investigating officer said, "There is also the prominent and symbolic target of a Christmas market, and the modus operandi that mirrors at least past calls by jihadi terror organizations."

Some previous  attacks like ax rampage in Wuerzburg and bombing outside a bar in Ansbach and two others unrelated to Islamic extremism in the same period, has surfaced to tensions in Germany over the arrival last year of 890,000 migrants.
