The official Twitter handle of the IPL gave information about the health of Hugh Edmeades which also said that he has unfortunately fallen off the stage due to nutritional hypotension. The statement further said that his condition is stable and he has been asked to take a rest. In his absence, commentator Charu Sharma is also conducting the first day's auction.
What is postural hypotension?: According to reports, it does not have any symptoms. But this is usually due to high blood pressure or lack of water in the body. It can also be caused by restlessness and suddenly due to standing or sitting. They are also advising the patient to relax.
