New Delhi: Poet Kumar Vishwas may be provided security by the central government. Actually, Kumar Vishwas had accused Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of separatism. Kumar said that Arvind Kejriwal had said during the 2017 assembly elections that he would either become the chief minister of Punjab or the first prime minister of an independent nation (Khalistan). A ruckus has started regarding this and now the fear of threat to the security of Kumar Vishwas is also being expressed. This is the reason why the Home Ministry is now reviewing Kumar Vishwas's security.

Let us inform that on Wednesday, Kumar Vishwas had told that when he asked Arvind Kejriwal to distance himself from separatist organizations in 2017, Kejriwal replied that he would either become the CM of Punjab or the Prime Minister of Khalistan. Now this claim of Kumar Vishwas has heated up the political temperature. While the BJP shared this video of him, Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi has demanded PM Narendra Modi to conduct an independent investigation into the matter. On the other hand, AAP hit back at Kumar Vishwas and said that why was he sitting silent till now.

Security agencies have become alert after the name of Khalistan came up in this whole matter. This is the reason why Kumar Vishwas's security is being reviewed and may be increased if required. Let us inform that today is the last day of campaigning for the Punjab Assembly elections and voting is to be held on February 20. AAP, Congress, BJP, Shiromani Akali Dal, BSP and Captain Amarinder Singh's party Punjab Lok Congress are the main contenders in this election.
