Hollywood debut of Deepika Padukone has released a week before in India than US. But a day before, a news flashed claiming the dubbed versions of xXx: Return Of Xander Cage have been held up at the censor board for some correction.

According to source, “Viacom had even announced advance-bookings open for the Hindi,Telugu and Tamil versions of the film in the anticipation that their censor certification would be done in time. However this was not to be, and Viacom had to cancel the release of the dubbed versions of xXx to 20 January."

But Pahlaj Nihalani has something different to tell, “As you know, the dubbed versions of a film can be certified only after the original is done. Viacom got its censor certification for the original English-language version on Monday. They submitted the dubbed versions on Wednesday and expected us to view all three versions on Thursday. How was that possible? We have a pile-up of films waiting to be certified. Producers must learn to set plausible goals for their film’s censor certification. We are not breaking the queue for any producer or film. It is first-come-first-serve at the CBFC,” he said.
