From pre-wedding functions of Mukesh and Nita Ambani’s daughter Isha Ambani’ in Udaipur to star-studded receptions in Mumbai, the wedding made the entire nation sit up and take notice. While talking about her special day for the first time, Isha says it was a very emotional affair for her family to see her get married.

While In an interview, Isha opened up about all that went into the wedding of the year and to what extent was she involved. She says that during the wedding, “She (Nita Ambani) and dad did all the hard work. Thankfully, we ended up liking the same things, so that made it a breeze. I didn’t go to a single wedding meeting. I was never someone who dreamt of how my wedding would be, yet it was wonderful in more ways than I can imagine.”

While sharing about her Vidaai, The 27-year-old also revealed that everyone would always start crying around her. Isha said “I was emotional too but everyone around me would cry all the time. I only cried at my bidaai because I felt some peer pressure as everyone else was crying, especially my parents,”

Isha married Anand on December 12 at Antilia, which is the residence of Mukesh Ambani’s family. Before that, the pre-wedding functions, including, mehendi and sangeet were organised in Udaipur, and was attended by the who’s who of Bollywood, including Aishwarya Rai, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, etc.

At one of the pre-wedding functions, guests also witnessed a performance by Beyonce.
