According to media reports, a principal magistrate heading the three-member Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) has ordered the release of a minor (CCL) found guilty of violating the law and in a terror case and granted him set-off benefits. . He has been sentenced to three years (from January 23, 2019 till now) in an observation home. In its decision on May 11, the JJB has ordered the release of the criminal involved in terrorist activities under 'Child in Conflict with the Law (CCL)'. CCL means he has been released as good behavior for a period of one year. He has been placed under the supervision of a Probation Officer in Thane.

Along with this, the court has also ordered that the convict will go to the old age home twice a month for the coming six months to serve the elderly and give his support in social work. As part of this, the terrorist has also been ordered to give mathematics and English tuition to the children of class 7 and 9 in his area.
