New Delhi: Justifying the remarks made by suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma on Muhammad, the Dutch MP, who supported him, has termed Islam as intolerant and its ideology a threat to the entire world. He said that the Muslim countries that apologise to India are governed by the extremely cruel Sharia regime and their track record of human rights is very poor.

Wilders further said that countries that kill their minorities and put them in jail demand an apology from a democratic country governed by law, so this is the biggest hypocrisy. He said the whole world knows how Islamic countries like Iran, Qatar, Saudi Arabia torture minorities in their country. The MP has termed Muslim countries as the biggest hypocrites. Wilders further said that most of the countries that have apologized are members of the OIC (Organization of Islamic Countries). These people describe human rights as subject to Sharia law, while Sharia law is extremely cruel and violative of human rights and freedoms. He said that in countries like India and Holland (Netherlands), all citizens are equal.  

Wilders further said whatever Nupur Sharma said was in opposition to the man who made fun of Hindu gods and goddesses. So he didn't say anything wrong. In a democratic country, under the freedom of expression, any religion can be criticised while being within the ambit of the law. In an interview, Wilders said that what Nupur Sharma said about prophet Mohammed is completely true. Everyone knows that it is said in the hadiths that when prophet Muhammad married Ayesha, she was only 9 years old. The Dutch MP said it was ridiculous to receive threats to speak the truth. India should be proud of this woman who spoke the truth.  

Wilders said those who criticise terror ideology and Islam are not "Islamophobes" (fear or hate Islam). Nupur Sharma is also not an Islamophobe. Islam is completely intolerant and this ideology is a threat to the whole world. Islam is intolerant of everything that is un-Islamic. Wilders said al-Qaeda, ISIS, the Taliban are criminal and terrorist organizations all over the world. They speak only the language of fear, violence and terror. He said that 10-15 years ago, he was also included in his hitlist by the terrorists. Then they left their home and stayed in the safe house for about 17 years.
