May 10,2016: The sugar values have hiked up from Rs 31 a kg this season to Rs 38 in the wholesale markets.
The Global sugar rates are trading at an 18-month high right now.
"We need to sustain this pricing," said ISMA President Tarun Sawhney.
He also stated that, “ the sugar sector has seen its worst.”
The prices will arise reflecting in quarterly wages soon.
