Jerusalem: The Israeli Army launched the third series of attacks on Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip and destroyed underground structures for 15 kilometers. The Israeli Defence Force tweeted on Monday. "Our warplanes defused Hamas's 'metro' terrorist tunnel system for 9.3 miles overnight," the Israeli military said. This 9.3 mile space can no longer be used for terrorism".
The Israeli Army said the attacks were carried out in the northern Gaza Strip and 54 fighter jets targeted 35 targets. Israel has said that 60 rockets have been fired from the Gaza Strip towards Israel since last night. Israeli defence forces tweeted on Monday that, "60 rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip towards the Israeli border from 7 pm last night to 7 am today. Out of these, 10 rockets fell into the border of gaza strip".
Israeli forces said, several rockets fired from the Gaza Strip were destroyed by Israel's air defence system. Israeli forces said in the evening on Sunday that 3,100 rockets had been fired from Palestine into Israel.
