Jerusalem: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a stern warning to Palestinian Hamas militants, emphasizing that their concealed locations in Gaza City would be reduced to rubble. He also urged Gaza residents to evacuate, cautioning them about an impending forceful operation by Israeli forces.

Netanyahu's message was unequivocal, declaring, "All of the places where Hamas is deployed, hiding, and operating in that city, we will turn them into rubble. I say to the residents of Gaza: Leave now because we will operate forcefully everywhere." He highlighted the threat posed by Hamas, describing them as an enemy that targets mothers, children, and even the elderly, abducting innocent civilians.

This warning from Netanyahu followed his declaration of a "state of war" in Israel the previous day. In a video statement, he underscored the severity of the situation, stating, "We are at war, not engaged in an operation. Hamas has launched a murderous surprise attack against the State of Israel and its citizens. I have ordered the removal of terrorists who infiltrated settlements and initiated a large-scale mobilization of reserves. The enemy will face consequences like never before."

The conflict has taken a devastating toll, with over 300 casualties in Israel and more than 1,600 injuries attributed to the surprise attack by Hamas militants from the Gaza Strip.

Israeli media reported ongoing rocket sirens in multiple southern Israeli regions, including Sderot, Kibbutz Nir Am, Yad Mordechai, and Netiv Ha’asara, all situated near the Gaza Strip. Concurrently, Operation Iron Swords, launched by the Israel Defense Forces in retaliation to the Hamas attack, has resulted in over 230 lives lost in Gaza and the West Bank.
