New Delhi: The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has completed the rehearsal of the rocket GSLV Mark-III (GSLV MK-III) carrying Chandrayaan-2. The launch of Chandrayaan-2 will be launched at 2:43 p.m. on July 22. Chandrayaan-2 was supposed to be launched on July 15 but was postponed due to technical snags in time.

Former ISRO chief A.S. Kiran Kumar informed that during the trial, we had a lacuna, which has now been removed. Now we are all set to go to the moon. On the other hand, ISRO Chief Sivan has said that the countdown will begin from the evening of Chandrayaan-2. It will face many tough challenges in the coming days.

He said Chandrayaan-2 is the next leap in technology as ISRO is trying to make a soft landing near the moon's south pole. A soft landing is very difficult. During the landing, it will face danger for 15 minutes. Chandrayaan-2, made with indigenous technology, has a total of 13 payloads. Among them, five payloads are from India, three from Europe, two from the United States and one from Bulgaria. In eight payload orbiters, three are in Lander Vikram while two are present in Rover Knowledge.
