These days south movies are breaking all the records and surpassing bollywood films. One of the most loved movies of this Kantara was dubbed and released in Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil released. Kantara was originally released in Kannada on September 30. Kantara’s director and actor Rishabh Shetty remains in news for different reasons.

In the recent interview, Rishab Shetty was asked if he wants to collaborate with the "top actresses" in the south Indian cinema industry, namely, Sai Pallavi, Samantha, Rashmika, and Keerti Suresh. Rishab Shetty respons “Iss Type ki actress” and fans relate it to Rashmika Mandanna’s old video. Rashmika quoted "production house”. Rishabh then added, “I really like to cast newcomers as they come without any barriers and I really like the work of Samantha and Sai Pallavi”.

Users linked it with Rashmika’s old interview in which she without naming a production house said the same words. The actress said, "I said okay to the competition as one of my teachers came and told me. I took part and we had state-level competition, and national-level competition and then I ended up getting the title.” She then shared that they put her name and photo on the front page of the newspaper."

She further recalled getting a call from a production house and thought it was a prank call. However, the fans noticed that the actress quoted the production house and refrained from naming it.  Rashmika mentioned is Paramvah Studios, co-founded by actor Rakshit Shetty, a dear friend of Rishab Shetty.

Speaking about the film, Kantara, which translates to the mystical forest, tells the story of a local demigod (Bhoota) who trades forest land to the tribe’s people with a king in 1870 in exchange for happiness. Many years later, when the king’s son grows greedy and wants the land back, he dies due to the wrath of Bhoota. Set in the fictional village of Dakshina Kannada, Kantara follows a Kambala champion, played by Rishab, who comes to loggerheads with an upright Forest Range officer, Murali (Kishore).
