New Delhi: Former India captain Virat Kohli is also known by the name of run machine in the cricket world, but for some time this player seems to be struggling with form. King Kohli, who has scored 70 centuries in international cricket, was expected to break Sachin Tendulkar's record of 100 centuries, but since 2019, this player has not scored a single century with the bat. Kohli has crossed the 50 mark many times, but has not been able to convert it into a century. Many times former players have also criticized Virat's poor form. Now on this issue, World Cup winning captain Kapil Dev has reacted saying that we only see one thing and that is your performance and if it is not right then don't expect people to be silent at all.
Kapil Dev further said that, 'I have not played cricket as much as Virat Kohli, but sometimes you may not have played much cricket, still you can find out things. We have also played cricket and understand the game very well. They have to improve their thoughts. If you prove us wrong with your game, we'll accept it. If you don't score runs, we will feel that there is something wrong somewhere. We only see one thing and that is your performance and if it is not right then don't expect people to be silent at all. Your bat and your performance should speak, nothing more.
He further said that, 'I feel sad to see such a big player (Kohli) waiting for a century. He is a hero for us. We never thought that we would see a player whom we would be able to compare with Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, Sunil Gavaskar or Virender Sehwag. But then he (Kohli) came, forced us to make comparisons and now he is struggling to score runs for the last two years, it has bothered all of us.

Let us tell you that even in 2022, Kohli's performance was not special. The player struggled to regain his form throughout the season. Now Kohli is on a tour of England, where the Indian team has to play T20 and ODI series along with one Test. Hopefully, on this tour, he will end his century drought and give a befitting reply to the critics.
