If you have not linked the mobile number from the Aadhaar Card, then do so soon, otherwise, your mobile service will be closed. The central government looks very serious about its plans. The Center on Thursday filed an affidavit in the Supreme Court and said that now the mobile phone holders will be required to link to their phone base by 6th February. The government's attempt is to pass the order in this direction from the Supreme Court. 

Advocate Hussain filed a 113-page affidavit on behalf of the government. It said that the Supreme Court had approved the compulsory linking of all mobile phone numbers in the Lokadi Foundation case with  Aadhaar Card by 6th February 2018. 

At the same time, the government has also said that the deadline for linking the base with a mobile phone cannot be changed by the government alone as it has been fixed by the Supreme Court. The government has said that it has extended the deadline for linking the basis with existing bank accounts to March 31.

During a hearing against the Supreme Court's plans to link the mobile phone with the mandatory on Monday, the two-member bench of the Supreme Court had asked the government to respond in 4 weeks. The court will hear a number of petitions related to the constitutional bench, in which its indispensability has been described as a "right to privacy". 

The Supreme Court had told the central government to compulsorily deposit PAN or income tax returns to the Aadhaar. Regarding cybersecurity, the central government said that in recent days, many countries have been victims of cyber attacks, but no incident of hacking or leakage of data on UIDAI and any of its servers has not been revealed.
