Janhvi Kapoor has made his debut in the film industry with the film Dhadak. She was launched by filmmaker Karan Johar who was tagged as the flag bearer of Nepotism in the industry. Some celebrities have not acknowledged it but few accepted that nepotism does exist in Industry. Janhvi also accepted it and  shared her views on the topic.

In a roundtable chat with Rajeev Masand, Dhadak actress agreed to the fact that Nepotism is prevalent in the industry. Jhanvi said that, The whole nepotism debate did make me question if I deserved to be in this position and I realized that the right answer to it is that I’m not. I do come from a place of privilege. But I have it, so what am I supposed to do now? She further added that I’d be the dumbest person on the planet if I didn’t do anything about it. So I need to ensure that I make the best of it and push myself to work as hard as I can...only then can I justify that I’m worthy,"

Janhvi won the hearts of the audience with her performance in dhadak. Film is written and directed by Shashank Khaitan and jointly produced by Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar and Apoorva Mehta under the Dharma Productions banner with Zee Studios.
