"It was an experience of a lifetime to play Lord Krishna": Swwapnil Joshi

Actor Swwapnil Joshi believes that playing the title character in the television series Shri Krishna as a teenager helped him develop a strong emotional connection with the god.

"I have always believed that while playing some characters as an actor drains a portion of your soul, playing such holy parts truly adds to your existence. I've grown into a better person today, one who can experience lows but still manages to remain resilient and unbroken.

During the Krishna Janmashtami event, Joshi said, "I feel overwhelmed and overjoyed to witness how people still see me as a medium between them and the holy incarnation."

When the show first debuted, "It was a very different scene," the actor recalled. Both outside my home and on the sets, where people would gather solely to see me or receive blessings, there was a massive gathering. At that point, Ramanand (Sagar) ji told me that it's not you that people are coming to; rather, it's the divine figure you are portraying that is luring them in. Recognize that you are only a medium. And for that reason, even though I was just 15 at the time, my success never made me arrogant.

Joshi summarises his journey as a fruitful one that he started when he was nine years old. "I believe that either my portrayal of Kush in the Uttar Ramayan or Shri Krishna, who afterwards became a cult, found me. Amanat and Dil Vil Pyar Vyar actor: "In a way, they chose me, and I'm incredibly happy of the fact that a kid with no concept of life was shaped into these magnificent characters.

Joshi is happy that all of his stalled movies and television projects are back in production. "The prosperous years were a time of learning for all of us. And we should be grateful that we made it through one of history's most trying times. Two of my Marathi movies as well as a web series will debut in the upcoming months. In addition, Joshi, who is best known for the hit movies Dunyadari and Samantar, says that he is excited to construct another amazing figure in the future.
