She further said that everything went well after marriage but then the relationship started getting sour. She said, "It was completely her decision to marry Nandish but my decision was not right. Within a few years, we were separated." Tappu said, "This period was undoubtedly very stressful for me. I also went through depression during this period." She revealed that she was not ready for divorce and made a lot of effort to save their relationship but failed. Circumstances started to get worse and eventually both had to end the relationship. Rashmi and Nandish have been separated for almost four years and a cordial relationship between the two remains.
