The teams of the Italian club Serie A have voted to start the season again from 13 June. However, the league is yet to get approval from the government.

According to the report of Xinhua, the top 20 teams of Italy's Club Serie A cast their votes on Wednesday in favour of starting the season again in June. Four teams have voted in favour of starting the league again from June 13 while 16 teams from June 13.

Meanwhile, the government is still discussing the measures that should be set for the season so that they can start the remaining matches. This is the first time the league teams have suggested different dates to resume the season. The last match before the lockdown was played on March 8. 144 matches are yet to be played in the season.
