Ever since last year, we have known that Luv Ranjan is set to direct a film starring Ranbir Kapoor and Ajay Devgn. The two Bollywood stars, who had shared screen space in the Prakash Jha film Raajneeti (2010), will once again be seen together on the big screen in Luv Ranjan’s next.

However, a report in a famous website claims that Luv Ranjan has found his two leading ladies in the film to star opposite Ranbir and Ajay. According to the report, Deepika Padukone and Tabu have given their nod to the project. Tabu, who will be seen next on the big screen with Ajay Devgn in De De Pyaar De, might just reunite with her Vijaypath co-star on the big screen if these rumours are to be believed.

Ex-lovers Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor, who have previously worked together in films like Bachna Ae Haseeno, Ayan Mukerji’s Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Imtiaz Ali-directed Tamasha, too could reunite with her co-star for the Luv Ranjan film. However, there have been no official confirmations everything is just talks of the town.

Meanwhile, Deepika is currently busy with the shooting of her upcoming film Chhapaak, which also happens to be her debut production. Being directed by Meghna Gulzar of Raazi fame, Chhapaak is based on the story of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. The film also stars TV-turned-Bollywood actor Vikrant Massey.

Currently, both Ajay and Ranbir are busy with their existing projects – Ajay with Tanaji: The Unsung Warrior and Ranbir Kapoor with Brahmastra.
