Ever since his debut film Vicky Donor, Ayushmann Khurrana has gone on to win millions of hearts and with every film, Ayushmann only multiplies his fan following. But what is interesting is that Ayushmann always pushes the boundary and dons a different hat in every film.
This talented actor is shooting for Bala opposite Bhumi Pednekar and Yami Gautam and in the film, for the first time, Ayushmann will be seen playing the role of a balding guy.
Bala revolves around a prematurely balding guy and a small town girl, played by Bhumi Pednekar, at odds with a society obsessed with fair skin. In Bala, the makers will be showing two three stages of baldness and therefore,
Ayushmann says that it is difficult to shave because he says, “But it’s difficult to shave my head because one day, I will be shooting stage one, the next day stage two, and so on, without following the natural progression all through. So, we will have to rely on prosthetics.”
“We have made films on various topics and issues; this one is one of the most topical and relatable as men across the country, maybe even the world, are grappling with it. Thankfully, I’m blessed with good hair but many of my friends who are in their the early 30s are complaining of a receding or thinning hairline,” he said.
“So I’m aware that though we are dealing with the subject in a light-hearted manner, it is a serious issue,” Ayushmann informs media. Besides Bala, Ayushmann Khurrana has a series of films in his kitty such as Anubhav Sinha’s Article 15, Raaj Shaanddilyaa’s Dream Girl, Hitesh Kewalya’s Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan and Shoojit Sircar’s Gulabo Sitabo opposite Amitabh Bachchan.
