Patna: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the upcoming election will be fought between "VoteBhakti and Deshbhakti". 

While addressing a rally in Bihar's Araria, PM  Modi said after the terror attacks in Mumbai, forces had asked for permission to retaliate but Congress government who was in power at that time refused because they wanted to do "votebhakti" politics. PM Modi said, "Instead of acting against Pakistan for the 26/11 attacks, Congress came out with Hindu terror.”

PM Modi also  hit out at West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee over the Bangladeshi actor Ferdous Ahmed, who campaigned for the Trinamool Congress (TMC) in West Bengal. Modi asked if it has ever happened in any other country.

In West Bengal's Buniadpur, PM Modi stressed that Mamata Banerjee can go to any extent for vote bank politics. Evoking the murder of Purulia BJP worker, PM assured the party cadre of the state that justice will be done and strict action will be taken against those who are responsible for such acts. 

Meanwhile, Congress the old grand party is set to address a presser in the national capital over its alliance with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).  This has come after the party President Rahul Gandhi openly tweeted their offer to give up four seats to AAP in Delhi. According to the reports, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal is adamant on seat-sharing in other states as well.
