New Delhi: Speaking on Article 370 in Kolkata of West Bengal, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) working president said that Bengal is the land of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, it is a great privilege for me to speak on Article 370 here. JP Nadda said that Farooq Abdullah, Omar Abdullah, Mehbooba Mufti and senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad, demand special status for Kashmir, they confuse the movement of the country.

Nadda said that Article 370 has been written in the Indian Constitution as temporary and replaceable. But on this issue, the kashmiri leaders has tried their best to mislead the people of the valley. JP Nadda said that former PM Jawaharlal Nehru had asked Sheikh Abdullah to discuss the Kashmir issue with Bhim Rao Ambedkar. Ambedkar had told Sheikh Abdullah that you expect us to give you security, provide food, but the people of India will not accept the movement of Kashmir, this is not acceptable to us. It is not acceptable to me as Law Minister.
