Chandigarh: Announcing Jat leader Hawa Singh Sangwan of Bahadurgarh in Riyana last week, he said that on April 21, he will adopt Sikhism with 250-300 people. He said that Hinduism is not a religion, everyone should accept Sikhism. These are the same leaders who worked to ignite the Jat reservation fire in Haryana.

Sangwan, who reached the ticker border, said that the Modi government is not accepting the demand of farmers. She is trying to enforce the law. But the farmers will not let this happen. Sangwan also raised the demand that all the cases filed in the violence on 26 January should be withdrawn. Encouraging the farmers, Sangwan said that since the government is not listening to their demand, they need a new scheme. He further said that if the government does not listen to them, then they will join Sikhism together with 250-300 people.

Hawa Singh Sangwan, 73 years old, is a former officer of CRPF and is also a prominent leader of the Jat movement. He has been continuously demanding reservations for the Jat community from Bahadurgarh, Jhajjar, Haryana. Hawa Singh was arrested in the year 2020 for hurting the sentiments of the Ahir community. According to reports, he made indecent remarks about freedom fighter Rao Tula Ram and the Ahir community. Later the controversy grew so much that he had to delete his post and issue an apology.
