On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti and the fourth anniversary of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Jacqueline Fernandez has launched a mission to clean beaches under the Yolo Foundation. Jacqueline, who has set up the Yolo Foundation to 'create and share the story of kindness,' shared her experience of cleaning the Mumbai beach on her Instagram handle and encouraged others to be beautiful and resolve to make the planet a cleaner place.

Jacqueline wrote in the post, "October 2, a date that is inscribed in millions of hearts as this day is the birth anniversary of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. Today, it is even more special because 4 years of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan have been completed. A clean city is the best gift we can give to ourselves and others. On this day, to fulfil my responsibility, I decided to go to the banks of the Mithi River with @kalambemalhar from @jlyolofoundation and @beachplyindia, to understand how we can contribute. @beachplyindia is working tirelessly to keep our city clean. They regularly clean the beach in which we can all volunteer too!!! Let us all resolve to save this beautiful city, country and planet.''
