Mangalagiri: TDP Mahila State President Vangalpudi Anita on Friday said that the Chief Minister misused the Police Memorial Day by making baseless remarks against TDP leaders on Thursday. Jagan Mohan Reddy took Pattabhi Ram's statement out of context. He said though no one made any objectionable remarks, the chief minister started misinterpreting that TDP's remarks were about his mother. The TDP leader accused Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy of using his mother and other women as part of his selfish and narrow-minded political agenda in the state.

Addressing a press conference here, Vangalpudi Anita said that Jagan Mohan Reddy used his mother and sister for campaigning and padayatra to come to power. Jagan kissed in his padyatra and touched the heads of many women lovingly. The entire state knew who tore the 'mangalsutra' of Jagan's own uncle YS Vivekananda Reddy's wife. Anita said the Chief Minister was now creating political turmoil by instigating party workers and implicating TDP leaders in false and baseless cases.

He said that it was Jagan Mohan Reddy who made countless impractical promises before the election for political power. After coming to power, he started creating panic among the people thus silencing all voices of public discontent. Anita said that the DGP is acting like a YSRCP worker. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will say all insignificant things, but not about the menace of drug trafficking and the threat to the future of the younger generation. The TDP leader insisted that his party is known for its discipline and that it would not be able to speak in a derogatory manner like Nagari YSRCP MLA RK Roja.
