Jagan government suspends DGP-rank IPS officer Venkateswara Rao over alleged corruption

Visakhapatnam: The Jagan Mohan government of Andhra Pradesh has suspended AB Venkateswara Rao, an officer of DGP rank, considered close to former CM of the state Chandrababu Naidu. Venkateswara Rao is alleged to have tried to harm national security while holding the post of state intelligence chief.
