This classic Indian sweet is loved by all during the festive season. Gulab Jamun is the round balls dipped in sugar syrup, often made during festivals. The alternate for this and one of the perfect Indian sweet for this festive season is here with a new twist. Try it once and make your festive season sweeter.
Ingredients
2 1/2 Kg Jaggery
500 Gram Khoya
175 Gram Maida
5 Gram Cardamom Powder
1/2 tsp Cooking Soda
1 1/2 Litre Water
How to make:
1.Make a dough of khoya, Maida, cardamom powder, cooking soda, and water.
2.Make small dumplings out of the prepared dough.
3.Heat oil in a Kadai, once oil becomes hot start adding dumplings into it.
4.Fry the dumplings slowly till it turns golden brown.
5. In the meantime, make jaggery sugar syrup.
6.After the dumplings turn golden brown, remove it from the oil and put it in prepared syrup.
7.Check the consistency and garnish with pistachios, serve hot.
