According to recent reports, Jaguar has confirmed that the new generation XJ sedan will be fully electric and the company can launch it by the end of 2018 or early in 2019.

The new generation Jaguar XJ will be launched on the completion of the first XJ model of the company's 50 years. Once the company is equipped with this electric motor, then the Jaguar will compete with electric cars such as the Tesla Model S.
