Chit Fund Scam: Jailed Sudipta Sen writes letter to PM and Bengal CM

Sudipta Sen, promoter of the group arrested in Saradha chit fund scam case, has recently written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. In this letter, he has mentioned the names of several leaders who took money from him. In this letter, the names of leaders like Trinamool Congress veteran Shubhendu Adhikari and BJP leader Mukul Roy are also included.

Mukul Roy was once considered a Trinamool Congress veteran and close to Mamata Banerjee. Talking about the Saradha chit fund scam, it was a big scam of crores and Sudipta Sen, accused in the case of doing this, is currently lodged in Presidency Jail of Kolkata. He wrote a letter on December 1 and in that letter, he has also named Shubhendu Adhikari, a Trinamool Congress leader who had gone on a rebellion with Mukul Roy. He has also alleged in the letter that Shubhendu Adhikari took Rs 6 crore from him.

In his letter, he has written about Mukul Roy, 'The BJP leader took a "huge amount" from him, but wrote about the amount that he did not remember. " Apart from these two, he has also named Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary, CPM MLA Sujan Chakraborty and CPM Polit Bureau member Biman Bose among those who have benefited from the Saradha Group. He has also alleged that Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary took 6 crores, Sujan Chakraborty took 9 crores and Biman Bose took 2 crores from him.
