The Military Intelligence, The Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) and the Intelligence Bureau (IB) have issued an alert to the government about possible terrorist attacks. A senior official said, "It shows the seriousness of the danger." He has stated that, 'Each of these agencies has personally reached the same conclusion'. The Supreme Court verdict has come on Ayodhya, which makes the possibility of terrorist attacks by terror groups of Pakistan very high. Another senior official has said that "terrorists want to spoil communal harmony".

When coded communications were merged with other agencies in the terrorists' dark web, security agencies came to the conclusion of what preparations should be made to deal with potential attacks. Terrorists can target Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh. Security agencies have been on high alert since August 5. On this date the Indian state was stripped of special state status from Jammu and Kashmir.
