New Delhi: The Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir DGP Dilbag Singh disclosed on Sunday that the Pakistan-based terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammad is plotting a major attack in Delhi. This is the second surprise reveal after the arrest of the terrorist who made the video by the office of National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval.

DGP told that active militants in Kashmir are buying weapons from Bihar. For this, they were using some Kashmiri students studying in Punjab, so that these illegal weapons could be brought to Kashmir. Singh made this disclosure after the arrests of self-styled chief commanders Hidayatullah Malik and Zahoor Ahmed Rather. Malik is a member of Lashkar-e-Mustafa, while Zahoor is a member of The Resident Front. Malik was arrested by Anantnag police from Kunjwani in Jammu and Rathar from Bari Brahmana area of Samba district on 13 February.

The DGP said that both these organizations are a subsidiary of Pak-based terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba. Malik was also involved in the looting of ₹60 lakh from a bank’s cash van last November. This was revealed after the arrest of four people, including his wife. The special thing is that Malik has undergone terrorism training in Pakistan and has built a large network in Kashmir. Eight terrorists of this network have been identified so far. Some of these are being arrested and questioned.
