Let us tell you that the name of this amazing historical heritage of India is 'Jal Mahal', which is in Jaipur. Actually it is a palace. Sawai Jai Singh built this palace situated in the middle of Mansagar lake on Jaipur-Amer road in 1799 AD. Before the construction of this palace, Jai Singh had constructed a dam on the gestational river for the water supply of Jaipur and constructed the Mansagar lake. Jal Mahal, situated in the womb of the Aravalli hills, is also called 'Eye Ball' because it is in the middle of the Mansagar Lake. Apart from this, it was also known as 'romantic palace'. The king used to spend this special time with his queen. Apart from this, the palace was also used on royal festivals.

Actually, the most important thing about this five-storeyed Jal Mahal is that only one floor of it is seen above water while the remaining four floors are under water. This is the reason why this palace does not get hot. The beautiful view of the mountain and lake can be seen from this palace. Especially in the moonlight night, this palace situated in the lake water looks very beautiful. You will be surprised to know that there are more than one lakh trees in the nursery of this Jal Mahal, which is guarded day and night and about 40 gardeners are engaged in this work. This nursery is the tallest nursery of Rajasthan. A large number of people also come here to roam here.
