When asked why he chose to develop lab-grown diamonds, Mr. Patel said, “The modern consumer is unwilling to compromise on quality and craftsmanship, regardless of their budget, so for us, lab-grown diamonds represented a unique opportunity to not only fulfill that need but to do so sustainably and ethically.”

Future Plans

Despite the trailblazing growth that Jama has shown since its inception, Mr. Patel is not content to slow down anytime soon. To that end, Mr. Patel has already begun working on expanding Jama’s operations, opening another branch of the company in Belgium in 2018 and participating in various fashion and jewelry mega events across Europe such as Vicenzaoro.
