In a display of support for Palestine, the All Kerala Jamiat-ul-Ulama and Jamaat-e-Islami have issued a call for mosques to hold special prayers today Friday. Syed Mohammad Geoffrey Muthukoya, the President of Samasta Kerala Jamiatul Ulama, along with the General Secretary, Pro K Alikutty Musliar, have jointly appealed for these special prayers to take place on Friday, October 13. Their aim is to express unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian population and to advocate for peace in the region.

Furthermore, Jamaat-e-Islami Kerala's Ameer, P Mujeeburahman, has urged the community to organize meetings that stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people who continue to face immense challenges due to the ongoing Israeli attacks on their homeland.

Afghanistan in the past, and Israel today, both situations call for unity among those in the struggle. The Jamaat-e-Islami in Pakistan is set to organize a series of protests across the nation this Friday in response to Israel's recent attack on Hamas. Sirajul Haq, a leader of Jamaat-e-Islami, has declared the commencement of a 'Palestine Solidarity Week' to express unwavering support for the Palestinian Muslim community. This declaration was made amidst a sit-in protest addressing critical issues involving contracts with Independent Power Producers (IPPs) and the legal rights of Karachi's 3.5 million residents. Daily Jarzat, a local Pakistani media outlet, reported on this event.

According to a Pakistan-based news outlet, the sit-in drew participants from diverse backgrounds, including industrialists, laborers, religious scholars, educators, students, medical professionals, engineers, lawyers, and journalists. They voiced their solidarity with the Palestinian people and the Hamas fighters.

The protesters rallied with fervent chants of 'Ya Allah Bismillah Allahu Akbar.' Sirajul Haq, the head of Jamaat-e-Islami, pledged to persist in their movement against rising fuel and electricity costs. He emphasized that supporting Palestinian Muslims is a matter of both faith and urgency. Their solidarity stands as a representation of the 250 million citizens of Pakistan. The interim prime minister called for a united effort in support of Palestine.

Anwar Haq pointed out that this conflict transcends being a dispute between two nations; it is a struggle between oppressors and the oppressed, a battle between right and wrong.

Comparatively, the Mujahideen triumphed over the Red Army in Afghanistan years ago, and today, the Mujahideen of Hamas have shattered the aspirations of Greater Israel. The actions of Hamas fighters have laid waste to the dreams of Israel and its supporters.
