The story – Lord Krishna had a conflict of war with the jambwant. The jambwant were in the Ramayana period and they are considered as immortal. He had a daughter named Jambavati. From Jambwanthji, Lord Krishna had to fight for the Symantak gem. They had to battle with the jambwant, not for the gem, but for the imperfection of the gem-stealing allegation. In fact, this gem was possessed by Lord Krishna's wife Satyabhama's father, Satrajit, and he was given this gem by Lord Sun. Satrajit the gem in his Deoghar. From there, he was wearing a gem and went for his brother Prasenajit hunting. In the jungle, he and his horse were killed by a Leo and kept the gem. After seeing Mani, Jambwant killed Singh and took him to the Mani and went to his cave where he gave it to his son as a toy.
Here Satrajit accused Srikrishna of having stolen this gem. Then Lord Krishna raced into the jungle to find this gem. In search of search, they reached the cave of Jabwant. There he saw that gem. Jambwant refused to give up that gem. Krishna then had to battle with Jabwant to acquire this gem. Zabwant did not believe that anyone could beat them. It was a surprise for them. Later, when he was defeated in the war, he cried to his Lord Sriram for his help. On hearing his cries of wonder, Lord Krishna had to come into his own ram form. The prophets were filled with astonishment and devotion. Then he surrendered with forgiveness and accepted his mistake and he also gave Mani and requested Krishna to marry my daughter Jambavati. Shri Krishna accepted his request. Jambavati-Krishna, incidentally, was born the gloriously son, named Plumb. It was because of this plumb that the total of Krishna was destroyed.
It may be noted that after Krishna took the gem, he did not satrajit the gem to the fact that a celibate and Spartan man was the one who had to possess the sacred gem as a heritage. Therefore, Shri Krishna gave it to Mani Akroji. He said Akroora, keep it to you only. You live near absolute spartan like this is the only grace of this divine gem. Akroora the humility of Shri Krishna.
