New Delhi: Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind has called Kashmir an integral part of India and Kashmiris as compatriots. The General Council meeting of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind was held in the national capital on Thursday. The proposal regarding Kashmir was presented in this meeting. During this, Jamiat said that any separatist movement is harmful not only for the country but also for the people of Kashmir.

Jamiat said in his proposal that, we feel that it is our national duty to protect the democratic and human rights of Kashmiri people. Nevertheless, it is our firm belief that their welfare lies in living together with India. Enemy forces and neighboring countries are bent on ruining Kashmir. Let us know that a few days ago Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat and Jamiat Ulma-e-Hind president Arshad Madni met.
