New Delhi: Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind has called Kashmir an integral part of India and Kashmiris as compatriots. The General Council meeting of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind was held in the national capital on Thursday. The proposal regarding Kashmir was presented in this meeting. During this, Jamiat said that any separatist movement is harmful not only for the country but also for the people of Kashmir.
Jamiat said in his proposal that, we feel that it is our national duty to protect the democratic and human rights of Kashmiri people. Nevertheless, it is our firm belief that their welfare lies in living together with India. Enemy forces and neighboring countries are bent on ruining Kashmir. Let us know that a few days ago Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat and Jamiat Ulma-e-Hind president Arshad Madni met. There was a sharp reaction from many opposition parties on this.
After this, Arshad Madni had told in a press conference that there was a discussion on working together for the benefit of the country. Recently section 370 has been removed from Kashmir. There have been statements from many opposition parties and Muslim organizations against this. Pakistan is also openly opposing it. In such a situation, this statement of Jamiat can prove to be a big relief for the Modi government of the Center.
